Paying BT

Further to this post which mentioned BT's shiny forthcoming charge for not paying by direct debit:

1.xx -- BT online payment, card A
1.xx -- BT online payment, card B
1.xx -- Online banking, account A
0.xx -- Online banking, account B
0.01 (three times) -- Online banking, account C
0.xx -- Postal order in very large box
0.xx -- Cheque in (the same) very large box
14.xx -- Cheque in BT's own pre-printed envelope
2.xx -- Postal order in envelope which is a couple of pence short for second class post
1.xx -- Postal order in envelope, folded into paper plane
0.xx -- Postal order in own envelope
4.xx, 4.xx, 4.xx, 5.xx, 6.xx -- cheques stapled into Moebius strip, in one envelope

Yes, yes. Childish and silly. But it makes _me_ feel better ;)

(The total is 1.99 more than the actual bill, for extra confusion value. This also gives me some leeway if they decide to refuse the insufficient-postage letter.)

For those who might be minded to try something similar, note that BT's online payment system seems to choke and die after you make two payments on the same bill, even if that still leaves an outstanding balance. You might be able to get round that by doing the payments on different days, perhaps.
