Tonight's menu

  • Sweet potato and ginger soup
  • Roast mushroom and pine kernel salad
  • Lemon sorbet with lemon liqueur
  • Veal escalopes baked with lemon, marsala and basil; asparagus; baby courgettes with basil; mushrooms marinaded in sherry and fried in butter
  • Baked bananas with orange liqueur and orange salsa

I bought some new cookbooks in Cape Town; courses 1, 2 and 5 were (largely) from there. #3 owed most things to Tesco's, and #4 was made up as I went along. Cooking is so much fun...
