Oh well, maybe next time

I decided just before Christmas that I was going to get back into the habit of giving blood regularly. I used to do so, while I was a postgrad and a bit after that, but then I couldn't do so for several years due to going on exotic holidays. (Well, not even that exotic, but occasionally into maybe-malarial areas.)

I filled out the questionnaire the Blood Service had sent me and trotted dutifully down to the session currently being held in the function rooms of my local library.

OK, next time I make an appointment! The wait time without an appointment was, the receptionist reckoned, about two hours. I suspect they can't be that desperate for a half-litre of A+, since most of the rest of Ewell seemed to have got in ahead of me...
