My mother needs to get out more.
She and my father were out shopping yesterday in Street, near their home in Somerset. She suggested they stop for a cup of tea, and Dad looked around and said "How about a coffee? We could go to Starbucks."
Mum's reply was: "What's Starbucks?"
Now, if she had lived in the middle of nowhere (as they currently do) all her life, I could understand it, but she used to live on the outskirts of London until a couple of years back -- and I'm sure Epsom (nearest majorish shopping town) has one.
