(no subject)

I've just finished reading Our Hidden Lives, which consists of interwoven diaries from five participants in the Mass Observation Archive from 1945 to 1948; fascinating stuff (think LiveJournal, sixty years previous -- the odds and sods of people's lives).

Turns out there's an event as part of the Kingston Readers' Festival next week which talks about this book and the MOP as well -- details here. There aren't many tickets left (12 or fewer).
