Urge to kill... rising...
Air France are now asking for inventories of what is in our bags. I'm told this is standard when they've been missing for more than 48 hours but it still doesn't exactly fill me with glee, especially since (a) a lot of it was stuff we picked up at the con, (b) to a large extent I don't recall what went in which bag.
Air Canada's complaints line in the UK is open for one hour a day. That hour happens to be between 11 and 12. Gosh, what a surprise, it seems to be permanently engaged and ringback doesn't work.
I am losing patience with this.
[ETA: finally got through to the number and have reached someone who can at least take a look from within Air Canada -- rather than filtered through Air France -- to see if they can figure out what has happened to the bags. It's not that I especially mind if we get them back tomorrow, Friday, next week, whatever; what worries me at the moment is that nobody appears to know where they are at all.]
