Cabbages and kings, er, apples

Tonight's dinner: sausages plus...

~1lb white cabbage, sliced finely
1 cooking apple (or three small apples which happened to be left over in the veg box)
2 tbsp oil
1.5 tsp caraway seeds
1 tsp ground coriander
200ml or so cider

Heat oil in saucepan, add caraway and coriander and fry for a bit. Add cabbage and fry a bit more. Add cider, bring to boil, turn heat down and simmer for between 30 minutes and an hour.

This is inspired by a similar recipe I have for spiced red cabbage, which uses mixed spice instead of the caraway/coriander, and red wine instead of cider.
