Pear salsa

Somewhat adapted from this recipe.

About 1lb pears, peeled, cored and chopped into small cubes (amount is approximate but a best guess rather than simply "the five that turned up in last week's veg box")
A couple of sprigs of fresh mint, chopped
Grated rind of one lime
Juice of one lime (plus a bit extra if you like)
1 tsp sugar
1-2 chopped jalapeno peppers
Salt and pepper to taste

Mix it all together and leave for an hour or so to combine flavours. Serve with (in this case) seared tuna and noodles.
