OK, we stopped at the Euphrates in Oxford last night for dinner on the way back from Wales (of which, perhaps, more later). One of the dishes we had was a lamb and mushroom concoction that was called "Korvak" on their menu, but I haven't been able to turn up a recipe anywhere...

The restaurant is, allegedly, Kurdish, but also serves other Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food. The actual dish involves minced lamb, mushrooms chopped small, pine nuts, onions and spices. Unfortunately I don't know what spices; there might have been some (ground) coriander in there, and maybe sumac.

Anyone have any ideas? cookwitch, does this ring any bells with you?
