How to get more post....

I signed up to Postcrossing last month, and am rather enjoying it. Basically, you send a postcard to someone somewhere in the world; when it gets there, someone else (not the same person -- or hugely unlikely to be, anyhow) sends one back to you. You can have up to 5 postcards in transit at a time to start off with; at the moment I'm up to fourteen sent by me and received at their destination and twelve received by me.

All it takes is a stack of postcards and some stamps (56p within Europe, 62p outside; although I have ticked the "I'm willing to send cards within my own country too" box, that has not yet happened). It's a bit lighter-weight than committing to send actual _letters_ -- and I can just about write legibly by hand for the amount required by a postcard, I'd struggle to do so these days for a letter ;)
