Yes, yes. Childish and silly. But it makes _me_ feel better ;)
(The total is 1.99 more than the actual bill, for extra confusion value. This also gives me some leeway if they decide to refuse the insufficient-postage letter.)
For those who might be minded to try something similar, note that BT's online payment system seems to choke and die after you make two payments on the same bill, even if that still leaves an outstanding balance. You might be able to get round that by doing the payments on different days, perhaps.
