OK, I think what I really need here is distraction tactics for the cats. They seem to (mostly) only bring one frog into the house at a time, so I wonder if giving them a rubber frog to play with might help stem the amphibian tide -- but where does one get such a thing? (Google is not helping much.)

What I want is one or more realistic-looking frogs, made of something cat-safe (probably rubber or plastic). NOT plush, not too wildly wrongly sized compared to the real thing. A bonus would be if they jumped when prodded, but that may be asking a bit too much. Also, cheap would be good, since I suspect they're likely to get mauled, or dragged outside.

  • Gah -- "friends" page styles

Anyone know how to turn off LJ's new "feed" style friends pages? Do not want. I find my existing 25-entries-per-page to be much more manageable.
