DTI site regarding unlawful deductions from wages
ACAS advice on same
I note that the ACAS site specifically says that one's employer must have one's consent in writing before making deductions from one's wages, which includes just not paying you on time at all.
I further note that there's a three-month time limit from the date the wages should have been paid to go to a tribunal about this.
Now, I wouldn't dream of inciting anyone on my friends list to cause trouble... oh, buggerit, you mostly know me well enough to be sure that that isn't entirely accurate ;) Anyhow. This may be useful information for some of you, though I guess it might also make the above links count as not-work-safe for those concerned.
